It feels like spring here already so of course I'm pulling out Bog Dweller. The straight vertical cat eye is super easy and a very forgiving technique for this polish, FYI!
products and technuque:
-2 coats dazzle dry (dd) base coat
-2 coats BKL bog dweller – magnetized only the 2nd coat 1 min using a neodynium bar magnet
-1 coat dd top coat – magnetized again 1 min
Next time ill just magnetize the top coat to save more time.

this is a neat effect! thank you for sharing, it looks great.
I love chatoyancy.
I think I like it better than the Miracle Bead that people call “glass bead”
(glass beads are all kinds of finishes, the one people post as glass bead is an emulation of the Miracle Beads that came out of Japan in the 90’s and were a finish over metal, so they weren’t even glass….I am a long time beader)
I love the vertical look!!! I always try to get it down the center and fail lol.
This looks so pretty…very chic – where or how did you hold the bar magnet to get this effect?

Taking notes for my next mani cause I love this effect and I need to break out of my glass bead rut. I will say that I get better results magnetizing the second coat of magnetic polish and the TC rather than just the TC, not sure why but it seems a bit flat with just TC.
This is a fantastic magnet technique, I can’t believe I’ve never thought of doing it! Thank you for sharing. Your nails look fab.
where did you place the magnet to get this effect?! this rules
This is beautiful! Reminds me of a marble in the best possible way.
